Sunday Prayer Time

Pastor George Kirsten invites you to a “drop in” prayer time in the library at 8 am this Sunday. Bring your concerns and burdens as well as your praise and thanksgiving. The atmosphere will be gentle and friendly. Everyone is welcome! We will finish in time for you to get to your 9 o’clock class!

Blanket Collection

On Sunday, February 19th, volunteers will be collecting donations for the Denver Rescue Mission from 9am until 4pm. A table will be placed in the main building front foyer collecting items until noon. From noon to 4pm they will be accepting donations in the Chapel and have live music, arts, crafts, and face painting. Please bring new or gently used blankets, coats, hats, and gloves to help us warm the homeless during these cold and snowy months.

Take it To Heart

February is Take It to Heart Month at West Bowles–Our AWANA kids are challenging you to memorize Bible verses this month, just like they do.

This week’s verse is Micah 7:7:
But as for me, I watch in hope for the LORD, I wait for God my Savior;
my God will hear me.

Valentines Dinner

Join the Best Years Yet and Friends for a Valentine’s Party at the White Fence Farm on Friday, February 10th. We will meet at the church at 4:30pm so that we can make it to our 5:30pm reservation! Call Pansy at 303.932.7766 with any questions.

Ministry Fair

Next Sunday, February 12, at 9am and following the 10am worship service we will offer another Ministry Fair in the gymnasium. This fair is intended to allow you to meet the folks who lead the many and varied ministry groups in our church, from Children’s groups to Senior Adults. Please plan to come and have a conversation with some folks who want to include you in their circle of ministry!
