HomeBuilders 1

The Home Builders 1 class at WBCC is a  place for newly married, engaged or seriously dating couples to connect with others and seek the Lord. From fellowship times, to marriage resources, to unique Bible studies, this group is designed to help you navigate the waters of this particular life stage. Come connect with this energetic, fun loving group one Sundays at 9:00am in the Library (right behind the coffee bar).

HomeBuilders 2

The Home Builders II class at WBCC is a  place for families or individuals with young children to come together and stay sane!

Every Sunday morning we enjoy fellowship and an interactive lesson with lots of discussion. Meet with us at 9:00 a.m. in the GP Underground Dakota Room.

Also, each month we spend time together to just hang out and enjoy a variety of fun activities. The events are usually on Friday or Saturday nights and include things like BBQ’s, game nights, movies, putt-putt golf, sporting events, dinners and holiday parties. Children are generally welcome or child-care may be provided. Details are announced each Sunday.

HomeBuilders 3

The HomeBuilders III class at WBCC is a place for parents of teens and young adults. We meet on Sunday mornings from 9:00am-9:50am in the lower Gathering Place Columbine Room where together, we explore current issues and topics that are relevant to families in this specific lifestage. Each week unique teachings with rich content are presented allowing for interaction and discussion opportunities.

HomeBuilders III also likes to have fun! Many outside activities for families and social events for couples are planned throughout the year. And for those who wish to dig deeper – an in depth Bible Study is also available.

Best Years Yet

Our adults ages 60 +/- meet Sunday mornings for Bible Study at 9:00 a.m. in the Choir Room. We also have an active social calendar and a newsletter of upcoming events all focused on the theme that 60 +/- years can be “The Best Years Yet.”

Open Door Class

If you haven’t already gotten connected with one of our Sunday morning classes, Dave Beatty leads a “No-Frills” class in the GP Underground-Chatfield Room at 9:00am. He’ll have you in and out in time to get your 2nd cup of coffee and be back in your seat by the time the Worship Service starts. Come one, come all!

Mid-Week Bible Study

Passion for the Word

An informal, low key study, this group meets every Thursday from 6:00-7:15 a.m. via Zoom. Join us for a men’s Bible study to start your day off right. This is an interactive Bible study and allows a great deal of participation from the men who attend.

Men of Valor

Join the Men of Valor on Saturday mornings from 6:30 – 8:00 a.m. in the Gathering Place for fellowship, worship and study as we meet to offer men the Gospel and a way to spiritual maturity.

MOPS

Mothers of Preschoolers” is for moms of little ones (pregnancy – Kindergarten age) who are looking for a place to be loved on, supported, and encouraged by other moms. Join us 2 Tuesdays a month (for FREE!!!), this Fall semester, as we venture into uncharted territory with our first ever HYBRID model of MOPS! Registration includes MOPS Int’l member benefits, daytime online events, nighttime large and small group Zoom meet-ups, and in-person small group meetings (optional) on the off-weeks. Every mom gets an “At-Home” activity kit as well!

This is a book study focused on walking closer to Jesus, designed with the busy woman in mind.

Ladies Precept Study

Ladies, do you have a desire to study scripture more in-depth but in a relaxed group setting? Do you want to find out what God’s will for your life is, and discover how the Bible arms us against the difficulties and hardships of life and brings comfort in times of trial? From Genesis to Revelation, God’s Word points to Jesus, and His Word is the way we follow Him.

Junior High Group

The Junior High youth Group provides youth with an opportunity to learn, serve, and have fellowship with one another. We meet in the Chapel for plenty of games, music, skits, videos, and a lesson. This is a great time to get to know lots of other youth and have a fun time.

Stephen Ministry

Our congregation’s Stephen Ministry equips lay people to provide confidential, one-to-one Christian care to individuals in our congregation and community who are experiencing difficulties in their lives.

GriefShare

GriefShare exists to offer healing, hope and encouragement to anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one. New group sessions begin Tuesday, February 11th and will meet every Tuesday through April 28th, 6:30-8:30 PM in the church library, GP main level. Advance registration is not necessary, but please Email Us so that we can reserve a workbook for you. We hope you will consider joining us so that you do not have to go through the journey of grief alone.
